Hello,

I have a small network here of about 10 PC's. Most of them are now XP. There is only ONE 98 box left, and since it was 'moved' from one user to another, it won't logon to the server.

The server is Windows 2000 Server, and it is set up as a domain controller. I think it's that was for the accounting software we use. Should I add the user to the server? And if that's the case, how does one add a user to a domain controller server?

I have never messed with a 2000 server domain...I am totally lost...

Thanks for the help!

Yes, you must create the user account on the server. Go to start>programs>administrative tools>active directory users and computers. From there you can add a user.

You can also access administrative tools from the server.

There should be a button in the toolbar that if you hover the mouse over, will state add a new user.
