Hi all,
I know you can take an XP Pro license, and use it on a 2000 professional install and all works fine. My understanding is that this is also legal provided the XP Pro version was purchased and not installed on another machine.
My question is, if you can take a legal copy of 2003 Server and use it's license to enable an install of 2000 Server.
The 2003 would not be used, but would be bought and paid for. This is only because of compatability issues with 2003 and the intended application. The system needs to run on 2000 Server but copies are hard to find.
Any quideance would be greatly appreciated.
Best regards,
Marlon

My personal credo:
Do well unto others, else you will, or at least should, not respect what you see in the mirror at the end of the day!
