My company currently uses a very old verion of VERITAS for our backup process. Our backup process if a full daily backup that occurs every night. Approx 12 gig is backed up. Lately the backup process has been failing for unknown reasons. I've called VERITAS but they no longer support the version we're using.
I would like to begin using Win2K's built in backup process, NTBackup. I've read about this backup method extensively in Microsoft books and everything I've read has OBVIOUSLY been good. I want to know if there are any idiosyncrasies with NTBackup that I should know about before making a full transition to using it.
Thanks.

Why make it simple and efficient when it can be complex and wonderful?
