200 ELx Node using MM to SM Fiber converters

I have a customer that is taking over another property and wants to install a spare node. Current FIM is a dual MM FIM but the fiber network between the 2 properties is SM. Has anyone used MM to SM fiber converters and if so any issues? Customer wants option to use converters versus swapping to single mode FIM and FIM Modules on PRI and PIMCC.
