Hi
My Question

We have a VTL and Networker 7.41 over Fibre-channel
We present from the VTL 1 Storagetec L700 Library to the Networker and everything works fine.
Now we would like to creade a second Library in the VTL and present them to the Networker.

Can networker handel this ?
im afraid that Networker cant make a diverence betwine the 2 Librarys.
with the command inquire (networker server is a red hat linux)
i see the following
[root@bwbckse1zhh root]# inquire
scsidev@0.1.0:STK L700 3.05|Autochanger (Jukebox), /dev/sg0 S/N: 8AU5S00203 ATNN=STK L700 8AU5S00203
scsidev@0.1.1:IBM ULTRIUM-TD1 18N2|Tape, /dev/nst0
S/N: 8AU5S00204 ATNN=IBM ULTRIUM-TD1 8AU5S00204

Now if i present the other Library to the system then i think the scsidev is the same is that wright?
but if it is the same how can networker make a diverence?

I hope someone can help me.

Thanks
Stephan

I can confirm this will work fine, as I have configured an environment with 2 VTL's presented.

I saw the following on the NW Server;
• CDL1 - IEBRI011CDL1-A (scsidev@4.0.0)
• CDL2 - IEBRI011CDL1-B (scsidev@8.0.0)

Don't know the presentation part but expect you will get another control path seen by the NetWorker Server when you create the 2nd VTL.

super

thanks for the help

Stephan
