Hi there,
I have 2 problems with 2 m2250 consoles.
They are not related to each other, however happen to be at the same site. This customer has two consoles at their location. One on the 29th floor and one on the 28th floor.
1 - Problem happened the other day where the console on the 29th floor went out. Turns out it was a cable/jack problem. Their electricians repaired the problem. That isn't really the issue. The issue is... that the customer wants to know know why the calls did not go to the other console when the defective/out of service console was down. Calls are shared between both consoles normally.
2 - Remember not relating to the above senario. Both console sparatically the buzz tones go off. The receptionist happens to look down at the console and notices a call coming in. There is no buzz tone. After they realize this they go in "shift key, then the button, then option 2 etc.." to turn the tones back on. They should not have to do this. They have made sure of the obvious... that they are not turning it off inadvertantly ect. It is also strange that this is happening to both consoles not just one. (I am being told it is happening to both, however, not a 100 percent sure on that, just from what the customer has told me. I thought when I was there last time it was only happening to one of them, but...I hear differently now?) Also to be noted is that the consoles have been replaced before (nor do I think it is a console problem if it is happening to both consoles)and i have found out that this apparently has been going on for a while.
So... having said that (both questions) the customer is getting frustrated and wants some answers. I can't come up with any! This is a Mutal funds company that cannot afford to be missing calls! Customer needs answers!
Any suggestions? Would greatly be appreciated!
Thank you!
Greg.
