Hello ALL,

I have new pix 515 E firewall and i am new to pix firewalls.
I have configured dlink firewalls.

I have few servers that are using public ip address that need to be put behind this pix firewall. After that, only two subnets from two different building need to access these production servers.

I don't have any vlans configured on it.
Is VLAN the way to achieve this configurations.

How do i configure the pix.
I can not change the ip address of the servers.

Please help.

Does the servers keep their public IP addresses or are you gonna set up a static in your PIX?

The servers should keep their pubic ip's and i have two spare public ips that i can use on the cisco Ethernet 0 and ethernet1. The 2 spare ips i have are from the same subnet as the servers.

How do i change the 'Routed mode' to Transparent mode in pix 515.

Please help
