2 questions on citrix/published apps

I just took over a network admin position in a citrix environment. I'm new to Citrix and only have a basic understanding. The file server is windowns 2003. Can anyone recommend a good reference guide/book out there I can use as a admin pocket-reference?

Also, notepad is one of the published apps, but it is named asldfkjsadfj, how can I change this? Thanks,

Citrix MetaFrame XP: Advanced Technical Design Guide, Second Edition by Brian S. Madden is my favorite reference clear and consise. You would need to define a bit more about what you need to administer NT 4.0 domain/Active Directory etc for me to recommend any other references.

I agree with rayzze, the advanced techinal design guide from Brain Madden is the Bible for Metaframe. I would also get the metaframe documentation from Citrix's website (SP3 and the advanced concepts guide), it will help give you a high level understanding on things.

to change a published app you need to launch the Citrix Metaframe Console highlight the applications folder, find the app, highlight it and go into the proprties.
