I have 2 tables, People, and Sick

so table 1, has Fred,Tom, Jane
table 2 has when and if they were sick, so Fred 01/01/02

I have 2 queries running from these two tables. (the queries also eliminate other criteria)

So what i need to do, is product a report on who has NOT been sick.

I'm using Access97 at work and Access xp at home.

Any hints on where to start, much appreciated :)

Several versions of Access have a query wizard that will guide you through creating a query for unmatched records.

But basically you will create a SELECT query with a left join between tables (all records from tblPeople and those records from tblSick where the joined fields are equal). Further set the criteria in the date field to those records where the value is null.

Cheers, Bill

num = DCOUNT("NameField", "SICKTABLE", "NAMEFIELD = 'FRED'")

When num equals zero you have no sickdays. Open table and put the names in an array. Check you Table 2 by plugging the array names.
