2-Port Flash Rel 2 - "Not Allowed"

Hello again everyone,
We have kind of a strange thing happening and I was hoping maybe one of you had run across this before.

We have a 2-Port Flash Release 2. The main line is ringing twice and going straight to Gen Del Mail Box. The site uses a CCR tree but the problem is we cannot access it. When we go into F983 and press "AA" we get a message that says "Not Allowed.' Similarly, we are getting the same message when we go into F982. We get into it as far as Busines Open, when we try to change it from yes to no it says "Not Allowed." This is a customer who does their own programming so I am not sure what they could have done. Also, more info, they have had lots of power outages lately.

It sounds like you have a Flash Light which only has mailboxes on it not Auto Attendant. Could their CCR be comming from the phone system (CICS)? If this is not the case then the only other thing I can think of is you are trying to access it using a M7208 if so it will not work you need at least a M7310.

Yeah, I think this is the case. It doesn't say Light on it anywhere but it sure seems to be acting like one.

does it say VML? If so it's a light.

I have a tech going down again today to work on the issue some more. I will have him look.

I have seen software cards with "FC" on the label that turned out to be Flash Light. If it is a Light the fix would be a keycode upgrade.
