I am designing an SMS structure and have decided upon the layout except how to tackle the problem of the maximum number of clients software metering can handle. Is it possible to have 2 sms servers balancing the load of clients which attach to them. If so how do you achieve this as i would like multiple child sites to be attached to these servers.
site 1 = 2 sms servers balancing 1250 clients (parent site/s)
2 software metering servers balancing 1250 clients
site 2 through 6 = 1 sms server (small number of clients)child sites
1 software metering server
do we need to split site 1 into multiple subnets to achieve this?
