I have a win 2008 server standard that originally only had one nic. After installing Hyper-V it was recommended to add another nic for the vms. So I did, problem is that the windows server starts to use that nic as well. So if I copy a file that’s on the server, I see the activity on the hyper-v card on not on the card dedicated for the server. If I then do a nslookup all of a sudden the IP has changed to the second hyper-v card. What can I do?

Thanks for your answer. I've got it all sorted now though. Your not supposed to even have the TCP/IP services installed on the NIC bound to Hyper-V.
