Hi Guys, I still have a problem with my centalized Voice Mail, when I call in from the outside and dial an ext. on the remote site it rings 4 times and gos to voice mail like it should but if you call from a ext. in the home office and call a ext. in the remote site it rings 4 times and gos to voice mail but asks the caller to enter their password just like a Feature 981. So my question I guess is where am I to tell the sets on the remote site to FWD no answer to.
Any Help is Greatly Appericated. KDB

DTone,
I presume this is still your original question?

"Hi out there, I have a question on my V Mail I have 2 MICSs with PRI and MCDN and a Central Voice Mail at the home office, The only problem is the Voice Mail works fine from a outside call but if someone at the home office call someone at the remote site after the 4 rings it gos to the voice mail of the person who is calling and asks for their
password. Is there anyone out there that knows what I did wrong. " ?

Couple of thoughts here..
Are you sure the remote site is ringing when dialed internally? Has someone sat and listened to the set ring?
As Brian suggests, make sure the remote site is CFNA'ed to the VMail DN.
There is a Norstar ITAS bulletin dated or outdated Nov 97 which gives a config tip about networking two ICS. The tip sheet uses the term E&M analog and T1 but NOT PRI. Don't know if this is relavent anymore.
There is also a PRI configuration bulletin which states:
" Norstar ICS PRI lines cannot have an associated line number nor can they be part of a line pool. The only way to access or use a PRI line is to enter the PRI routing code before entering or dialing a telephone number."
Also make sure your remote site does not use the same DN's as head office.

You have probable covered all of the above twice over. Post some more of your PRI configuration details ... I think that would help.

Cheers

Hey Guys been out sick. Thanks for your reply's. lets see
Yes I am sure that the exts are ringing at the remote site.
the DNs for home office start at 201 and the remote site is 501 I also have programed the Private Network Identifier and to use CDP. The Voice Mail DN is 249. So I programed the FNA on the remote site to 249 but when an inside call hits the remote set rings 4 times it thinks that the home set is calling Voice Mail and asks them for there password. They are using feature 980 now to leave them a message. This is really strange as this is said to work in the software 6.0 and 4.1 on the NAM.
Thanks for your input. KDB

Me again, I Programed the T-1 card as follows
Card Type: PRI
Lines: 1-23
Protocal: SL-1
Type: Master (Remote Site Slave)
BchanSeq; Ascend
CO Fail: T1A-547A
I/F Levels: ISDN
Framing: ESF
Internal CSU: On
CSU Line Bld: 0
Line Coding: B8ZS
Clock Source: Primary
Max Transits: 31
If any more Info is needed just ask. KDB

Also I did check my setting on the V Mail and redirect DN is on. Has anyone networked 2 MICS's and 1 V Mail. Lets see there is one part in the addendum, Assigning Greeting Table 1 to the lines answered by Norstar Voice Mail. on step 5 it says Enter the line number of a line assigned to Centralized Voice Mail and press OK. Now are they saying that the Target lines assigned to the remote sets (Those on the remote site start at 210) Have to be answered by table 1
It has got me very confused!!! KDB
