Hey there, we are currently gathering requirements for performing a domain migration. I always thought that each domain/forest needs to be on its own subnet? In doing some reading I see that this isn't true. I have only noticed that this is possible, but I haven't read about any caveats to doing this. Can any of you shed some more light on this subject? Thanks.

There's no issues with running to Windows forests on a single IP subnet.

DNS should be no issue, just watch out if you use DHCP on both DCs for the same subnet. No overlapping!
