2 Domain Controllers Configured as Global Catalog servers

Is there any issues with having 2 domain controllers configured as global catalog server within the same domain?

No. In fact, you want more than one GC.

If your domain has no subdomains or other domains in your forest, then it's fine to make both DC's global catalogs.

Otherwise you don't want the server that holds the Infrastructure Master role to also be a GC. Doing so disables the Infrastructure Master's functionality.

Just keep in mind that you want redundancy for the GCs. If you have more than two DCs, keep the IM from being a GC, as ShackDaddy mentioned.
