Hello

I have a laptop and a desktop (both are XP Pro), and a WRT54G. I can get a wireless connection to work with my laptop and an internet connection with the desktop. Yet they are not visible to eac other on a network.

I installed windows XP networking from the wizard specifying that both should share the internet connection from the router. (and share files with each other)

The Desktop: Can recognize the network, the internet and see the laptop. However, it cannot access the laptop saying that the user does not have the rights.

Any help would be appreciated!!!

The Laptop: Can recognize the workgroup name, but nothing else. No desktop, no internet.

Bottom line. How do I get both computers to share the router connection to the internet and to share files amongst themselves. (I have sql server installed on the desktop that I want to access from the laptop via the wireless connection).
