Is it possible to have the same CIL output on two NIU2 ports (one V.24 port and one Ethernet port on the same board) to be connected to two external devices?
The Call Information Logging data are output either to a V.24 port or the Ethernet port of the NIU/NIU2 output device. When using an SIU output device the Call Information Logging data are output via a V.24 port. The co-existence of the NIU/NIU2 and SIU boards, in the same exchange, is not supported.

It is possible to use this same NIU to connect CIL over Ethernet and V24.
System is BC12 SP9

On NIU3 are initiated two outputs CIL -1 = V24 and CIL-2 = ethernet and it works fine.

Before absolutely resignation from SIU I have (ca. two month) CIL using SIU and “new” CIL on NIU without any problem.
Coexistence of SIU and NIU in the same exchange is supported but not in this same LIM
Combination SIU and NIU is described in ALEX
Solutions of problem 1 and 2 was tested and verified by experience.
