Hello,
I just bought a HP 5510v all in one printer a few weeks ago and now when I scan a document with the Automatic document feeder two black lines show up on the scan they are vertical lines. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? When I copy those lines don't show up.

Sounds like part of the scanner head has a problem. You could try cleaning it with compressed air.

Hi, HP's tech support sent me a link and I was able to fix it. I had to open the ADF cover and use a Q tip that I dipped in rubbing alcohol and i rubbed the glass with it and it fixed it.

Thanks for your help.
