hey guys,

just wondering where i can find 2.1 bin files. we have a control unit that needs to upgraded but cant find 2.1 bin files.

any help would be great.

Upgrade it to 3.whatever, that's why the 2.1 is not on Avaya's site as it has been superceeded :)

thought i had to go from 2.0 to 2.1 then i could go to whatever i wanted too??

does the 2.1 bin file have a memory expander file (i.e. 2.1.999) or something like that?

i have a 412 that is 1.4 at the moment. what would be the best way to upgrade it without breaking it?

i tried this on another 412 that was 1.4. i tried to go to 5.0 but now i cant even DTE the 412 i tried to upgrade. its locked up???!!!!

Well the upgrade procedures only start at 2.1 so from 2.0 is tricky, but I would load 4.2 then up to R5 (Dig modules through 3.2.999 before R5 though). This is a huge step though and many things have changed, it may be worth considering rebuilding the config :)
