We have a company that we deal with whose number is 1-800-976-xxxx. The phone system is blocking us from calling the number. I did a 'list ars analysis" and see a deny for 1xxx976.

So I have 2 questions.

1. Is the number we are trying to call 1-800-976-xxxx an actual toll free number?
2. Is there a way to unblock this one number?

Thanks

Add an entry for the specific number in the ars ana or general 1800976.

You will have to research if the number is toll free , but usually number ranges are blocked for a reason so be careful with that , and exactly as Stinney says add a new entry in you ars table specifically for that number and follow the settings match the minimum and maximum digits exactly so 11/11 and utilize a route pattern that you know will make a call over a traceable trunk (a trunk that you can view an itemized bill on , maybe even phone your service provider and get them to be aware that you are making the call so you can trace the fee etc)
