I am installing an option 11 for the first time. I am experienced in the troubleshooting and programming but not from the installers side. Does anyone have good suggestions on how present to the customer a template for the programming on the sets? ( approximately 300)

Thanks!

what i tend to do is build a set of each type that will be used and label it, get the user to sign off on that as a standard, with 2008's i use line 0 and 1 as a mcr and leave 2 blank, forward conferance and transfer, mwk are about standard, on a 16 i leav room for four numbers add the same feature keys and maybe ssc and a few adl keys, but i find it very helpful if most of the sets are copy 16 as opposed to each one different, bu doing that each dept will look like the last and you will not have to retrain with each move.. if your lucky they'll use 3900 series phones and they default very clean and labeled

They are making it easy, they have 3902's and 3903's so the key caps are not a problem :)

that makes it very clean, just install a set and take the defaults, the switch creates most of the keys you user will every need, add mwa fna hta to class fnd xxxx and hunt xxxx for voice mail target plus the dn's and you have a verey clean phone.. if the user wants gpua, you'll need to get the the numbers for each group, most users don't need icm or speed call, but those are the most common options
