181 GB drives in 9910/9960 ?

We use a mixture of 36GB and 73GB drives in our 7700e. We are looking at upgrading to a 9980, which we know will take a mixture of 73GB and 36GB drives (181GB is not currently available for the 9980).
The drive specifications are as follows:

Rotation Speed 15000rpm 10000rpm 7200rpm
Internal Transfer Rate
Inner Zone 68.5MB/s 44.2MB/s 25.3MB/s
Outer Zone 88.3MB/s 74.0MB/s 47.0MB/s
Access Time
Read 3.8ms 4.9ms 8.2ms
Write 4.2ms 5.7ms 8.9ms

As you can see the paper specs suggest that the 181GB is quite a bit slower. EMC don't beleive that there is a significant performace hit by using 181GB over 73GB in their subsystems though.
