17xx running config w/ dual T1 lines

I will be setting up a 1700 series router with 2 wic-1dsu-t1 cards. The scenario is that i need to configure this router to connect to two different T1 lines. One will be used as a failover for the other. I wasnt given too much information about much else(function, needs...). I just want a head start on the project. Any advice will be great

Use static route with distance metric.
Here's an example, Serial0 will be used as your default route, the router will then use the Serial1 route when Serial0 is down.
