Hi You all,

I have a new Cisco 1751 with a vwic card MFT-E1 Channelized.
and I'm getting an E1 uplink to my ISP. My question is can I use this card to Uplink to my ISP ( take for granted that my ISP is providing a channelized E1). If this is possible how do I configure it?
simple example please if it is possible?

Thanks for your help

First things first... Are you in Europe, because the US doesn't use E1s.

To answer the original question though... Yes... The MultiFlex WIC cards support channelized circuits.

OK i'm In Belize Central America, and what we use is E1's.
I know that the cisco 1751 supports the VWIC channelized card, but i wanted to know if I can use this as an uplink to my ISP? or in other words this connection is going to be my default route for my connection. Do I make Sense?
Thanks for your help.

What you would do is buy a normal 2 port WIC... You don't need the VWIC even if you are using the other channels for voice.

Plug the first port into your DMARC, and the second port into your phone system.

There is some additional configuration you'll need to do, seach on cisco.com for exact syntax and how to set it up in your environment.

Thanks Baddos, i got the information needed from cisco site.
