I'm running a 1720 with NAT, and can make a single outbound vpn connection without a problem.

I'm going to be working from home soon, and I'm wondering whether I can configure the router to establish an incoming VPN connection from me on a cable modem?

tia,

You can.

1. Do you have IPSec or L2TP client software?
2. Do you have an CCO account with Cisco?

The reason I ask the second question is because you will need direction on setting up the inbound connection, and if you have a CCO account this getting this information is easy.

Yes, I have IPSec client software (does built in W2k count? - I also have the Cisco VPN client).

Yes, I have a maintenance account with Cisco as well.

I guess I should contact them directly. Thanks for your response.
