How can i disable to Self-Administer on 16XX series phones?

Sorry TL but its an option in the 1608/1616 phone menu so they don't need a SelfAdmin button to get going.

However the answer is simple, give them a 1603 if you don't want people to use the features!

Then he need to uncheck the option "system phone"

Or if it is 6.0.8 then set the "system phone rights" to "none"

But TL how can remove "Self-administer" button from 1616.

("system phone rights" to "none") I am using 6.0(11046) manager. where it is?

customer have got 1608 series phones.

If it is still there check the button programming.
You could disable the menu but then you have to change the 46xxsettings.txt file.
Look for the option "opstat"

I tried "opstat" before but didn't work.

Button programing : User can change buttons If user uses the features-phone user-Self Administer so IPO manager button programing don't help this.

I'll try "system phone rights" after upgrade 6.0(8)

Upgrading to 6.0 is not free !!!
If you have no upgrade license your phones stop working !!!

I am using "inhibit Off-switch Forward/Transfer" so user can't forward phone his cell or other extarnal calls for now.
