Quick background info...
IP Office 500 V2- R.8.0
H.323 extensions
correct licenses
Sonicwall 3-Way VPN
etc. etc.

So my customer wanted to have a phone at his employees house so that she can answer the phones at home instead of coming into the office. So his IT company set up a VPN from the office to her house and when he is in her router he can ping the IP office. Now for his second office (he has the two offices connected by VPN) for that 1616-i IP phone all I did was put in the callsv, and the subnet mask and the phone automatically links to the phone system.

What ports do you have to open/forward to the IP address of the IP office because I cannot seem to find my notes for when we set up the original 1616-i at the second office. I remember something to do with ports 1719 and 1720 but cannot remember what exactly and all of the guides that I find online are of older versions which honestly I do not understand.

The only settings on this phone is..
Phone IP-
CallSV-
Router-
Mask-
FileSV-

I hope someone can help!! Thanks!

Usually a site to site VPN has all ports open.... usually...
Then only enter the IP Office IP Addres in the CalSRV and FileSVR fields and leave the rest on 0.0.0.0 unless you need to point to a other gateway as the default one provided by DHCP, in that case enter the correct gateway as the Router IP address.
Thenin IP Office you must have a IP route to the local IP Address of the remote phone.
If not all ports are open within the VPN tunnel then ask the IT engineers to copy the settings of the working VPN connection to this one.

okay so she tried the IP office IP address for the CallSV and the FileSV fields along with the 192.168.92.1 for the gateway because her default gateway is different and it still doesn't work... anyone else have any other suggestions? this is driving me insane considering the phone is 3 hours away so i cannot physically test certain IP addresses in the phone I am communicating with the secretary through email and can only help her as much as she actually answers me.. which is a couple times every 2 weeks.... HELP!
