1608 Reboots Randomly every 1 to 5 minutes

I have an IP Office 8.0.44 with embedded voicemail.

The site had a bad 1608 so I moved another phone to that location. When the replacement phone came, I put it where I took the other one from. Now it reboots every 1 to 5 minutes. I tried removing the extension and readding it while the phone was unplugged but that didn't seem to make any difference.

When I look in Manager at the extension, sometimes it thinks the phone is a 1608 and sometimes it says 4624.

The phone says it is the current firmware on the system status app.

I cleared the settings on the phone as well by doing the mute button and clear.

The bad extension number is 121.

Indeed, the system has no knowledge of the location and you have had 2 handset go faulty in the same place....probably cabling Delete and recreate the extn and user just in case though

I didn't have 2 phones go bad in the same location. Location A had a bad phone. I took a phone from location B to put a location A. When I got the replacement phone, I plugged it into location B. Location B never had a problem until I plugged the replacement phone into it.

I brought it back to my shop and it does the same rebooting on a totally different IP Office.
