1601 Router showing bad interface

I have tried two seperate 1601 routers and two seperate WIC-1DSU-56k cards. I still get bad interface. Here is the boot log. Any ideas appreciated. Thanks

Let me add, that this was the card I was told that we needed (WIC-1DSU-56k/4), but I am thinking maybe not. We have installed a 64k DSO 4 wire circuit. Does Cisco make another card that will work on this type of circuit?
 
If the interface you are talking about is the wic 56k, then the router does recognize it! But it looks like the bootstrap software 11.7(ax) does not suport the wic 56k. If you do a show int on the router does it show the wic 56k interface? and can you configure the interface?
 
Yes it shows the interface and allows for configuring. It just shows "Bad Intrfc" upon boot. The telcom cannot see LMI and the interface shows down.

How does one upgrade the bootstrap software?
