Hello

This might be a common problem but I have not found a solution.

I have some 1416 and 9508 sets on my test bench, that have been restarted in the middle of loading firmware.
Now they don't load firmware at all. They begin loading and then at some point halt and go back to a message
saying the system is not responding.

Is there any brute-force way to bring these back?

For one it isn't common to interrupt loading firmware on phone.
If it is interrupted the phone can be an expensive brick.
What is your file server set for?
Do you have Manager opened when trying to load firmware?

if these got unplugged during the process they most likely are a brick now and need to be replaced, also have you tried rebooting the IP Office and then retry?

File server is set for "Memory Card" by default, and yes we did reboot the IPO.

We have several systems running different releases for testing scenarios. Sometimes phones get moved from one system to another, bad practice I know.

Don't use combo cards for upgrades, about 3 or 4 in 10 cards cannot upgrade phone firmware successfully...that's Avaya for you :)

@amriddle01,

Noted. However, I am able to get other phones to load from same ports. In this case I don't think it is down to the Combo card.

I think you have bricks now as the upgrade process was interrupted, so may need to replace the phones
