We have an IPO500v2 rls 8.0.44 and it is working great. I tried adding a new 1403 set to the system but it will not boot up. We have 1416 and 1408 sets and they work as well and IP sets that work. I looked in the manager and saw the 1403 bin file so is there a way to force it to boot?

I had the same problem, it had around 9 x 14xxbins I could get 1416's working but not 1403's so I contacted my dealer. They sent a folder that has 13 x 14xx bin files, I copied them in and rebooted. 1403's fired up no problem. Have you checked how many you have?

If it won't do anything like you told Intrigrant, i'd say it's faulty if you're sure the end of the line cord is getting digital phone voltage.
Monitor will show the file request in TFTP filter if it's looking for a file.

I have
1400Boot25.bin
1400LngR10v09pack01.bin
1400LngR10v11pack01.bin
1400R16.bin
1400R32.bin
1403Boot03.bin
1403R06.bin

in my Manager directory, if any of these are missing then it might be the reason for the phone not booting, or a defective port :) always an option.

I see no more then 6 14*.bin files so it would be helpfull if you post a list of files you have and which on is actually loaded. The 1403 needs only two files really.
That is the 1403boot file and the 1403Rxx file.

I have
14xx_HW62
1400Boot25
1400R10++6082
1403Boot03
1403R06
14xx_lang_R1
1400LngR10v09Pack01
1400R16
1403R01
14xx_R1
1400R04
1400R49
1403R03

I would put the SD card in to a card reader and remove all 1403 files.
Then put it back in the IPO and use embedded file management and select upload phone files.
This will put the correct file son the card and then it should upload fine.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

What do you see in monitor after enabling tftp trace? I find that quite often even when the correct bins are present i will need to reload them to the sdcard using embedded file management. 1403's are the worst offenders.

here are the bin files I found in manager:

1400Boot25
1403Boot03
1400LngR10v11Pack01
1400R32
1403R06
1408Bin25

I tested other ports and it does not work. I tested the phone at another site and it does work.

you use your SD card as file server or is it set to custom with an IP address in the file server?

I changed it to the SD card as the file server and it came up.
Thanks Westi!
