just Upgraded my IP office V2 to release 7.23 then 7.27 and now 7.32 however all 1403 and 1416 digital phones are not working. the 1403 display Waiting "Firmware Update".

File server type is set to memory card ( although i tried changing to Manager but still doesnt upgrade)

i have notied that 1403R4.bin is missing from the embedded file management under- Primary.

has anyone resolved this kind of a problem.

If it is missing then add it yourself.
I have seen this kind of behavior before.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

thanks im glad someone has seen this problem

were can i find this file ????? i have looked everywere on the manager but cant find it, and would this also resolve the issue with the 1416 sets ????

Its normally in your manager directory.

Upload the missing ones manually to your SD card, and reset the TFTP and HTTP server on the IPO back to the SD card.

Also, what is doing your DHCP or are they fixed IP? Your DHCP server also needs the right options in the scope to add the HTTP / TFTP server.

Here are more details

i have cleared the issue with the 1403 sets, however the 1416 sets (not all as some have worked) try to get the firmware and halfway through they come on screen with
No application firmware
FWIMAGE INVALID
Any Ideas ?????????

can you use mv-iptel load up the handsets with the last known working firm ware, download the bin rest of the bin files from avaya support and put them on a mini network (small poe switch your laptop with iptel running , manually program the handsets and force the upgrade), thats what i do when things go south, that said you should have the correct files on the sd card so if you get them working again , recreate the card with the relevant version of manager or the bins.
