1403, 1408, 1416, 1603, 1608, 1616 screen faulty / not working Ribbon disconnected from motherboard.

If the screen ribbon has been disconnected from the motherboard in a 14xx or 16xx handset, there is a black clip that needs to be slid up in the direction of the arrows below before the ribbon can be reinserted in to the slot.
After the ribbon has been reinserted the black clip then needs to be slid back in to place to lock the ribbon in place.
Don't brace your thumbs against the RJ45 plug that sticks out from the motherboard while you do this or you can break the socket.
