123v5 does not display font colour dialog 1

I now have Lotus 123 V5 installed on XP SP3. It mostly works fine but, when I choose to change the font colour,the matrix does not show. There is a flashing square box where the current colour would be and, with random clicking where I know that the matrix should be, I can 'find' other colours.

Does anyone have any ideas on this? I have tried installing on a couple of other XP computers with the same outcome.

You can display the colors in Win XP. Go to Display Properties. Click on Appearance. Click on the Effects box. Uncheck the first box. Click on OK. Click on Apply. You should have the color pallette for 123.
