12 Hour Shift Crossing Midnight

How do I set up my Overnight Calendar for my 12 hour shift that works from 5 PM - 5 AM M-F? Will this calnedar also work for the same schedule, but 7 days a week?

Tools > Options > Calendar-tab
In the popup set "Hours per day" to 12.
Tools > Options > View-tab
In the popup set "Date format" to something showing hours.

Tools > Change Working Time
In the "Change Working Time" popup
Click on "new"
In the Create New Base Calendar popup:
Name: Overnight
Create a new base calendar: click on the radio button
OK
Back in the "Change Working Time" popup
Select Monday-thru-Friday
From: 12:00AM
To: 5:00AM
From: 5:00PM
To: 12:00AM
OK

Be aware that this will cause *numerous* behind the scenes effects.

Depending on which you wish to control, assign the Overnight calendar to either the Resource or Task.
