After lots of try, I'm in need of some help with this issue. Maybe is something simple but when you focus to long on an issue, you get lost in trying stuff....
So my problem, I recently added 100 ip phone 1140E on my CS1000 5.5. I can say that 95% of the phone are working well but some of them have display issue. In fact, I configure key 00 for ACD, KEY 01 as SCR Extention 1 and KEY 02 as SCR Extension 2. I also configure NRD and MSB on this set. For an unknown reason, I have 5 sets who display garbage (like esquare) at key 00 and SCR at KEY 1 and 2.
It seems this set only display alphabetic characters and no Numeric.
I will post my TN config below but for now, this is what I did :
1- All phone were configured the same way. I upgrade all phone with the most recent firmware 0625C8G from Avaya website.
2- I took one phone who was display correctly and set it up with the faultive TN and I've got the same exact problem.
3- I deleted the TN who was 96 0 1 2 and recreate it to 104 0 1 20.
4- I re-cable everything from the desk to my server room using different jack.
5- I plug the phone directly to my POE switch.
6- I tried to plug it to different switch.
So now, I don't have any idea. Maybe a firmware downgrade but, I had the same issue with a phone who was displaying correctly.
And the person can logged in to the queue, receive call and make call.
Any idea?
