We recently installed IP and digital phones to our CS1000e Communication Server.

Our M3904 users can successfully store numbers in their Personal Directory.

However, when our three 1140e users press their Directory key, they immediately get the "No Applications Available" message.

I'm a Nortel newbie.

Any ideas?????

Responses are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Brad

Look in the IP Line Fundamentals NTP under "Personal Directory, Callers List, and Redial List".

go into element manager, personal directory>server and set the ip address as the elan address of one of your signaling servers.

+1 to Wane47.

On IP phones the personal directory, callers list, and redial list all reside on the leader signaling server of the IP Node, rather than on the telephone set. So the application must be set up by you in order for it to work.

Just make sure you use the e-lan address of the leader signaling server in Wane47's instructions above.

Thanks to all who responded.

Our Personal Directories are now working.

The Leader Signaling Server was not configured with the proper IP Address.

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
