I know the answer is probably no, but is there anyone here who has dug down and found a way to factory reset a unistem 1140e/1120 set in a way that overrides any manual settings and sets everything back to auto. In the process of upgrading and we have a lot of phones all over that have some manual settings that need to be switched to auto. would like to be able to do this without touching each set.

Avaya hasnt been able to help and all online info ive found is a couple years old, but i thought maybe, just maybe something has been figured out.

I have been told no. We just upgraded our systems and I had to manually touch each and every set.

-Brad, I didnt think so. Weve been able to get them to reset some options, but they wont do all options.

If you have SSH enabled on the phone you can run reset2factory (I think is the command).

could you add the ssh info to a provisioning server, and add the server to DHCP scope, then script up an SSH to every registered set to do the above (reset2factory).

not done any of this before, just an idea :)
