11.0.4.2_58 UPGRADE 1

I upgraded an IP Office from 8.1 to 11.0.4.2 build 58 last week. I have 2 issues following the upgrade.

1 - Two bin files failed to upgrade. avdcpb2.bin & ip500v2_be.bin

The error message states "One or more 406v2 units failed to meet the minimum hardware requirements (must be PCS 8 or above to load 4.0 firmware).

The IP500v2 is PCS11 and is configured as follows:
SLOT 1 - COMBO /700476013
SLOT 2 - DS-8/ATM4 /700417330 PCS04
SLOT 3 - DS-8 /700417330 PCS04
SLOT 4 - VCM32 /700417389

2 - The system time changes randomly and daily.

The system seems to be working just fine except for the system time.

Has anyone experienced this?

Exactly which version of 8.1 did you upgrade from? You have to be above 8.1.65 to go to 11. There is a bootloader update that has to be done and it happens at .65.

The time change what type phones is it on? 5400 series is a known issue.

@budbyrd I upgraded to R9 prior to going to R11.

@teletechman The site has 5400, 5600, 9500, & 9600 series phones.

The 5400 will show an extra 1 so that 1:00 pm will show 11:00 until the phone is used then it will show the correct time for a while.

Thanks all! I confirmed this all to be correct and avaya isnt releasing any fixes. The 5400's has run its course.
