How do you setup your system so that certain ext's can not dial 1010220 then a long distance number. Someone is by passing our code entry for long distance phone calls.

You do this from the disallowed lists. I believe under the extension programming sublist. Or you can lower the COR on common use phones that will block long distance trunking. I believe there are two or three effective ways to takle that beast!

If you don't have a call accounting system, hook up a hyperterminal sesion to the SMDR port, and let it run for a day or two. Search it for the 1010220 code, and you'll have the who, what, and where of it.

I have tried the Disallow list with 1010220 and assign my extention to that list and I can still use 1010220. What am i doing wrong?

Go to Tables, then to Disallowto, then type 7 for table 7, then type in the extension you want to disallow. Try yours for experiment. Table 7 is a default that should include all numbers starting with 10

Let me know if it worked!

ScoTTeL,
I have tried the table 7 and disallow to my extention, but it still lets me dial 1010220....
