10.1 clients not showing in SSC

We recently upgraded from SAV 9.0 server to 10.1.5. And all the legacy clients (which range from 8.0 to 9.1) all show up fine in the SSC. However, all of the clients which I have migrated up to 10 do NOT show up. On the client side, it lists the correct server as "Parent server", but when I go into the SSC, it still shows them as being the old version. If do an "Audit Network", giving it a range of IPs that I know includes 10.1 clients, it finds the clients, but lists the server as "Unknown". I even tried manually copying the grc.dat and the server certificate to the appropriate places on the client, and still it won't show up. Any ideas? Could this be a port issue?
 
Go to the clients that ARENT showing in the SSC and verify their version. You may find that they have had the SERVER version installed. I had this happen to a number of machines, theres an issue with the remote client install.

There is no fix at the moment and you will have to uninstall these versions off the clients.

Try using the NONAV tool from Symantec, if it fails to uninstall then try the manual uninstall below

I would also contact symantec and get their assistance

The clients were installed properly, that was not the problem. It turns out the 8.x and 9.x clients try to communicate with the server on port 2967, but 10.x clients use port 1041. Once we opened port 1041 on the server firewall, the clients showed up as expected.
