Anyone have this issue? Am I missing something new?
I've made the user both Level 1 & 2, and rebooted the system several times.
The user is able to change the time but when you move on to the date there is no option to select "change".

Seems basic and stupid but I'm unable to find why in the kb.

Does the IPO use SNTP or VMPro/Manager as the time source?

Then it must be a phone firmware issue or a software bug.
Did yu try a 1408?

I didn't have any onsite.
They are all 9508's. Maybe I'll have another user try (although I'm pretty sure they are all out of the same batch).
I did have the system set to sntp but it wouldn't update at all then. At least now they have the right time but the date says it's 2003... they are just irritated with this being new system...

Set it to vmpro/manager with 0.0.0.0 and make a change to the system. The system should synch to your laptop date/time.

Which does not explain why the date cannot be changed manually.

There must be a reason to be able to set the time/date manually.

The customer told me they were able to change the date today.
Thanks to intrigrant for suggesting trying another phone, I gave a 2nd user the ability to manually change it.
However, I'm pretty sure this was my technician error due to downloading the manager lite version of s/w onto the customers computer and then trying to upgrade from that.
When I uninstalled lite, downloaded full admin version, and upgraded from that was when customer said everything was good.
No more lite for me.

Good tip from Telecomboy as well, I'll try that next time.

Lite is only for managing the system not to upgrade if you read the notes it says that it does not include the BIN files for upgrading.
