This is an interesting situation. I have 3 PC's networked in my home. All are Win98 SE boxes and 1 is dual-boot XP PRO. The problem is as follows. 1 of the systems will not load the Classmates.com site. When I attempt to access the site with the system in question, I receive the default IE error page stating "The page cannot be displayed..... yadda.... yadda...." I get the same result using Netscrape and Slimbrowser. The system in question is also the dual-boot box, and I am able to access the site when booted into XP. I am positive this is not a hijacker issue as I've taken every step to rule that out. I had the same problem a couple of years ago with a different site and never resolved the issue. That system was eventually reformatted and I never had the problem again. I suspect this is a registry issue but I'm just gussing. Any ideas?

Search for the hosts file and examine it with notepad. If you find a line with classmates.com, delete that line.
