Customers are reporting that at times the number "1" is appearing on their sets. I can't figure out why.

I have unplugged the sets to reboot them the problem goes away and the returns but only on a few of the sets and it is always the same sets every time.

It must be some config. like display lock but I can;t figure out what it is.

Thanks!

It has happened on several sets and when I have replaced the set the problem moves to the new set. COuld there some config. on for that ext. that I have set wrong?

This is an oldie but goody.
I'll bet you upgraded not long ago too.

Replace the NVRAM.
This is the outer part of the s/w assembly.
Seen this a lot on the old Rls 1 NVRAM's.

are you rel 6.1 ...
i think its a known bug solved in the last 6.1

I vaguely recall a bulletin about this issue and also problems with call park. All I can find right now is that software version 30CQG05 (DR6.1 wi 6.05) had the bugs and version 30CQG10 (DR6.1 wi 6.10) was released to fix these bugs.

This is a known issue with MICS 6.1, You will need to completely power down the MICS and all modules....Make sure that you take the power cord out of the wall outlet when powering down. If you buy a battery backup with surge protection, this might not happen as likely. The need here is to make sure power is clean to the KSU.....check the plug for grounding issues.....the wall outlet....
