1.25tb volume gets disk full after 700gb

I have a novell 5.1 server sp2 with 1.25tb of storage on a 4gb mem 700mhz HP server, 4 rs/12 containers on a netraid 4m card, raid 5.

Problem is that I cannot restore past 700gb of data on the volume. Netware says pleanty of disk space left, but DISK FULL messages keep popping up.

Anyone got any clues?

Have you tried running VRepair with the remove deleted files option?

If you have salvaging turned on, you may need to do a purge

Done it all. Volume is very clean. Pleanty of directory entries available.

What is the size of your NetWare volume (hopefully it is not SYS as well!) and what format is it (ie. normal DOS/LONG or NSS)?

If you have NSS, try applying the latest Service Pack (SP5 for NetWare 5.1) as this cures some errors. -----------------------------------------------------

It is a traditional volume, not NSS
