Hello, Within a label, I'm trying to return 1/2 the vertical space such that the spacing between printed lines is less. I know I can create multiple labels and bump them up etc, but I've got like 75 to do-it's a text-heavy report.

Many thanks.......Mickey

If you are using a version less than 2007, it may be worth trying to set the line spacing to a negative number, it cannot be done in more recent versions. Line spacing can be found on the format tab for a control.

Mickey,
did you get this resolved ? Can you please be a little more descriptive on the problem ?

Remember when... everything worked and there was a reason for it?

Hello,

I will test out the solution proposed by Remou.

Line Spacing property for label will not let me enter a value less than zero.

Certainly not a trivial effort, but look into the printer properties. If accessible, they permit setting horizontal and vertical setting of the print position. Of course you also need to then print the strings using the prointer properties.

See thread705-1225591

I found it using search with "Printrt.Print", along with way many more that I was not interested in reviewing for details.

Some other versions of MS Access may not have access to the same functionality, at least not in the same way. However if you are determined, the the API can almost certainly be used.
