we recently updated an 0x32 to 7.1 software. works on t1, not pri. when operator answers incoming call, once caller hangs up her phone rings once. we have changed softawre (new 7.1), t1 cards, ksu, phones, still no luck. any ideas on what can cause this.

You'll probably have to re-input the PRI keycode. That's one of the critical items I leave with the system when I do an install, and hopefully you'll be able to find it.

The key question- Your DTI card- in Hardware, are you able to change the type to PRI, or just T1? If just T1, you'll need the keycode.

Since you are not using a PRI do you have the trunks appear on her phone or are you treating all of them as DID. If they are DID then how are the target lines programmed. also while you are at it how do you have the individual trunks programmed. also do you know specifically which line is ringing the operator position? have her look at the display, it should show for just a split second

Trunks 1-9 (channels 11-19 on t1)ring to her phone. They are not DID. trunks are programmed as ground start, line side, line pool A. All lines in a hunt gruop from c.o. Thanks.

Yes, you can call out. we have noticed ringback is only on incoming calls when person calling in hangs up before receptionist. c.o. turned on auto ground disconnect (I think thats what they called it) and that resolved the problem for about an hour, then it started again. No change in c.o.
