0 to outside operator

Hello,

I am having problems with a PBX when dialing 9+0 to reach the outside operator. When I dial 9+0 I get a busy signal. We can dial 9+0 from another another PBX in a different location with no issues. I checked the COR but can't find anything that could help me to figure it out. I contacted the carrier and they say they are not blocking anything in their side. any ideas? thanks!

Hello,
did you try the command "list trace station xxxx" using terminal emulator? It traces the calling station (fill number) and can write you down some help. You can than copy & paste it to this thread.

Here is a list trace station and I can see there is a denial station and denial event 1751. anyone could help me to figure this out? is this something in the COR?

1751 means no AAR/ARS route pattern.
Can you dial 0 when using The TAC code first rather than 9?
Does your routing allow 1 digit lenght outside ?
So indeed check your route pattern.
(i dont have a pabx handy to check, but I believe the command to check, is something like "list ars route chosen 0" to see the route the calls take)

Hello telcoguy. Well, 0 is setup for local operator and that works fine. I have another PBX with 0 for local operator and can dial 90 for outside operator without problem. When I use command list ars route chosen 90 in the PBX with issues.. it display it's using route pattern 2

OK, so when you look at route pattern 2, does it point to a valid trunk group? perhaps you can post the route pattern screen?

Are you sure that FAC (FAC ARS-Access Code)on your PBX is 9 ?

You need to run 'list ars route 0' and post the results here.
The 9 is the ARS code and so should not be included in the dial string here.

Does trunk 1 exist?
If so, is it in service?
I notice the FRL in the route pattern is 7, check the FRL in the COR of the calling station.
If it was an FRL restriction I thought you would get a differrent error but you never know?
