Hello I am new at photoshop and need to put copyright symbol
on a drawing. Copy and paste from other sources no work.
thanks

Is the copyright symbol available in the font you are using? When you copy the symbol from somewhere else, you may be copying junk data that Photoshop ignores. Try these key combinations to produce the © symbol:

option+g (Mac)

or

alt+0169 (Windows)

I usually make one big one in word then take a screen shot and crop it and then use that image for symbols

hey

when i wanted to put a copywrite pic on my pic the copywrite symbol from photoshop looks all weird and oval shaped so id rather draw it in as it looks better

although wullie's answer probobaly solved you question, the fact is that i didn't have time to read wullie's answer so this may be a big waste of time.

oh well

if ur using windows 98 or higher version. Click on start /programs/Accessories/system tools/ there u will find charmap.exe run the exe. Choose "ARIAL FONT" copy the font and click the text tool icon in ps and paste the font u have copied from charmap.exe

If charmap is not installed go to control panel open add remove program click on windows setup tab scroll down and click on system tool and click on details and select the option charmap.exe and press ok.

good luck
