there seems like there is some problem with your ram. you should try to change the page fileing(virtual mem) so that it is aleast a gig. (1024 min/max) depending on how big the harddrive is.

your bios should have a frequency setting that you cna change to get it to 1.8hz. why was it that low in the first place its supposed to be at 2.0 when you buy it. i have that processor.

yes i know that much. but do you know if it is ok to turn it on just to see if the fans work and stuff without the cpu in it? because i tried it and the fans ran and everything but i got a funny smell like something burning.
